Supple, toasted, succulent.
This single 1050m high Remolinos Vineyard is a special site, which is owned by Decero, and located in the sub-appellation of Agrelo, in Mendoza.
Aged for 14 months in French oak it offers bittersweet chcocolate, espresso, black currents, graphite ans savoury spice with tinges of green olives. The palate is an echo of the nose; dark berries and dark mocha, spice and earth. Overall good freshness, structure and persistence but as is typical it leans toward brooding, making it a wine for BBQ, hearty proteins and grilled mushrooms.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Olive Oil & Cracked Pepper
Rich Meats , Good First Impressions, Cellar Keepers, GONE CRACKERS
